Across India’s villages, thousands of women hold ancestral knowledge of herbs, home remedies and natural healing.
Zane Ayurveda Foundation helps them turn that knowledge into dignity, income, and independence.
Through our Women Empowerment & SHG Program, we support rural women in learning, producing and selling authentic Ayurvedic and herbal products — creating livelihoods rooted in nature.
About the Program
👩🌾 Formation of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) for collective work
🌿 Training on basic Ayurvedic formulations like herbal powders, oils, and health packs
🧴 Practical sessions on herbal product processing and packaging
📦 Guidance on branding, quality control, and marketing
💰 Direct market linkages through Zane Ayurveda Foundation’s network
Women are encouraged to use locally available herbs, so every product is pure, sustainable and community made.
Program Objectives
✅ To preserve traditional Ayurvedic wisdom held by rural women
✅ To generate self-employment and financial security
✅ To reduce dependency on chemical-based products
✅ To strengthen families through natural health awareness
✅ To create women leaders in Ayurveda-based entrepreneurship
Our Approach

3️⃣ Provide starter kits and raw herbs for small-scale production
4️⃣ Connect them to local and digital markets for sales
5️⃣ Support continuous growth through follow-up and new training modules
